Etty Sadek, the president of Pure Space Design®, grew up in Mexico City, and later in New York. She now resides in Bergen County, New Jersey. As the daughter of an architect, she was immersed in design from a young age and developed an innate feel for the function and flow of space.

Her interest in period architecture was awakened while researching details for an addition to her 1930’s Tudor home in New Jersey. That project gave birth to her consulting work helping homeowners with multiple facets of design. Etty had always had a strong and clear vision that resulted in spaces that reflect everything she loves but that also convey her eclectic personal style and sensibilities,—much of which is informed by her multicultural heritage.

Etty now embarks on the same creative voyage with her clients, creating homes that truly reflect who they are and what they love. She reviews architectural plans by others for new homes and additions in order to ensure efficient and logical use of space. She manages floor-to-ceiling remodeling and design makeovers for all spaces. She creates homes that reflect the functional needs and preferences of the client. Etty works effectively with contractors on custom plans and permit requirements; coordinates estimates, purchasing, space planning, budget control, and vendor contracts; and ensures the swift resolution of unforeseen and anticipated problems.At the end of the day, Etty's goal is to make the voyage comfortable and enjoyable for her clients.
